Graphic Design
I've always been interested in graphic design. It bugs me how only little people realize that fonts like Comic Sans are an abomination to mankind. Which is partly why I want to become a graphic designer. I even made a little example to give an idea of how posters and logos should look.
You see how it has slight shadows and glow all over? That's gradient. If the whole background was just a solid color, it would look really damn boring. I also added an inner shadow to the text (the font is Rockwell, by the way) to give an illusion that it's engraved. And that concludes my lecture on design. I'll be back with something completely different tomorrow, or next week, or maybe even hours from now. Bye!

I agree with Mr. Dordoy. I've always enjoy graphic design, but I'm afraid I haven't got the talent for it. You certainly seem to though, great job!
ReplyDeleteI agree with you and the other people who commented about the Comic sans font. I like the poster you made, it's simple yet sophisticated because of the shadows & lights; I could use some graphic design lessons so post more :D
